We wanted to build a more intuitive process, time, and money management practices for construction industry workers. The approach was to eliminate the long process and prevent marketplace fraud between three workers, architects, construction workers, and manufacturers.

Nowadays, architectural companies are looking for manufacturers who can provide them with the materials at the best prices without having the hassle to go back and forth with emails, phone calls, paperwork, and excel sheets. The product vision is to create a simple service to get the task done efficiently and effectively. 

The process started with qualitative and quantitative research. The design thinking process led to discussions, ideas, hypotheses, and assumptions. We conducted a set of research methods such as testing prototypes with closed groups to understand user behaviours. 

Before hitting the first line of code or sketch of Archestr, we decided on the key principles which set the tone for the rest of the project: 

• Give accurate quotations regarding materials instead of estimated prices 
• Create an easy flow for all three workers to follow 
• Create a scalable platform and not only focus on specific products
